While the 97 Neon looks the part of another iPad Air competitor, it only has a middling 1024 x 768 resolution screen. Underneath the glossy display there's a quad-core Archos A9 1.6GHz processor and quad-core Mali 400 MP4 GPU with 1GB of RAM.
The Archos 97 Neon is not only slightly bigger, but it has a more reasonable 1,024x768-pixel resolution. Though it does offer a 1.6GHz quad-core processor, the tablet is saddled with the same memory and storage options. And, while this is the only Neon tablet to feature a rear camera, it's a lowly 2-megapixel shooter.
All three models come with 1GB of RAM, Android 4.2, 8GB of internal storage and a micro SD slot, which can take cards up to 64GB. Each model also has a front facing camera and the Archos 97 Neon also has a 2MP back camera.
<>Archos is summoning 2011 with the specs for its new Neon tablet line. The slate trio represents the low-end of Archos' lineup, and doesn't impress in the specs department.
