ASUS adds another solid entry to its impressive line of tablets with its Transformer Pad TF300T. The TF300T includes more CPU power, battery life, camera quality, and embedded apps than ever, along with some notable improvements to the excellent docking bay which offers the user laptop-like functionality.

Text: In 2011, ASUS introduced its Transformer and Transformer Pads, devices that revolutionized tablet design with its detachable keyboard and trackpad dock. The ASUS Transformer and Eee Pad lines offered an unmatchable capacity to perform as both tablet and laptop then; the Transformer Pad TF300T continues on this path with notable hardware upgrades.

The operating system is Android 4.2 Jelly Bean, as of its release the most advanced OS available, and the CPU has been upped with a mighty NVIDIA Tegra 3 Quad Core. Those who enjoy camera functionality in a tablet should note the 8MP auto-focus camera in this Transformer Pad.

As for the docking bay accessory, again what has been seen in previous ASUS tablets holds true in this Transformer Pad, with upgrades. The dock includes USB and SD card ports, plus now extends battery time to up to 15 hours, well more time provided than in previous Transformer models. The firm solidity of the dock keeps the Transformer TF300T one true unit for laptop-like use.
