Samsung have cleverly created a range of tablets to suit different needs and price conscious tablet users. This latest Galaxy Tab 8.0 is an upgrade model or optimal choice in the series of similar previous models. This Galaxy Tab 4 8.0 offers better specifications and performance for squeezing just a little more functionality out of your tablet.
While a range of models offer basic performance, this particular model opts for a little more jazz with a slight increase in screen size at 8” and a resourceful and far more useful 64GB memory card slot capability. This is great for the Facebook generation who love to game on their tablet considering Unity platforms are hungry memory consumers and the extra storage is handy for all the downloads performed in sharing files.
The quad core 1.2Ghz processor means it performs slightly faster and better than the Galaxy 7 tab which only has dual processing. As you probably guessed, this comes at a price, but only a small one. The better performance drains the battery slightly more under constant use so it offers 11 hours of usage, down only slightly when compared to the 7 tablet model. The Galaxy Tab 8.0 is a solid performer that will handle multiple tasks from even a demanding user.
