The Yoga Tablet 2 is Lenovo’s latest 10.1-inch tablet that comes with a unique kickstand to suit different needs such as reading, web browsing and entertainment. It’s a flexible little tablet that can take different forms depending on what makes it the most comfortable to use.

The Yoga 2’s display is crisp, clear and offers an interesting resolution that we don’t see on most Android tablets. It features a 10.1-inch IPS LCD display with a 1920 x 1200 resolution with a pixel density of 224 ppi. The colors are vivid and the saturation levels are close to perfect, making for a beautiful display.

The Yoga Tablet 2 offers four modes of operation: stand, tilt, hold and the new hang. While you may still want to invest in a case for the Yoga Tablet 2 to protect its display while in transit, the built-in kickstand means you get more modes than a $39 iPad Smart Cover, without having to spring for an extra accessory.

Lenovo decided to go with Intel’s 1.86GHz Intel Atom Z3745 processor and 2GB of RAM this time around. The combination offers up decent performance with minimal lags during most common tasks. The tablet didn’t stutter or slow while streaming HD video on Netflix, nor did it lag during Web searches.

There is simply no tablet that can compete with the Yoga Tab 2 in terms of battery life. Lenovo estimates 18 hours of use – almost double most other tabs. That sounds about right.

Without an oversized display or nifty built-in projector, the smaller Lenovo Yoga Tablet 2 isn't quite as exciting or interesting as its larger counterpart. The unique "multi-mode" design remains, but this tablet isn't about excitement—it's about value. At $269.99 (16GB), the 10-inch Yoga Tablet 2 is one of the highest-quality, low-price Android tablets available right now.
